Shabad Interpretation in English: I am satisfied and satiated, eating the food of Truth. With my mind, body and tongue, I meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. The real life is Life with The Lord Waheguru, Spiritual Life is chanting of Waheguru’s Name in the company of Saadh Sangat, the company of Holy. He is dressed in robes of all sorts, if he sings the Kirtan of the Lord’s Glorious Praises, day and night. He rides upon elephants, chariots and horses, if he sees the Lord’s Path within his own heart. Meditating on the Lord’s Feet, deep within his mind and body, slave Nanak has found the Lord, the treasure of peace. Shabad Veyakheya in Punjabi:

अपने मन तन और रसना द्वारा प्रभु का नाम सिमरन कर सच्चे भोजन की प्राप्ती हुई और मन तृप्त हो गया। सच्चा जीवन परमात्मा के संग ही है जब साधू जानो की संगती में हरी जाप कीया जाता है। जब मनुष्य दिन रात हरी कीर्तन मे प्रभु के गुण गन करता है, यह अनिक प्रकार के वस्त्र पहनने के बराबर है। जो मनुष्य प्रभु का मार्ग अपने हिरदय मे धारण करता है, यह हाथी रथ घुड़सवारी करने समान है। हिरदय मे प्रभु के चरण का धयान करने से दास नानक को प्रभु रूपी सुख का खजाना प्राप्त हुआ है।
