My Lord and Master Waheguru is utterly powerful. I am just His poor servant. My enticing beloved is very dear to me, as dear as my life. He blesses me with His gifts. I have seen and tested all. There is none other than Him. He sustains and nurtures all beings. He was, and shall always be there. Nanak says, O Devine Lord, Please bless me with Your mercy so that I may always be at your service.
I seek the Sanctuary of the all-powerful Waheguru. My soul, body, wealth and all I have belong to the One God, who is the cause of everything that happens. Meditating, meditating in remembrance on Him, I have found everlasting peace. He is the source of life. He is all-pervading, permeating all places; He is in subtle essence and manifest form. Abandon all your entanglements and worthless occupations; sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord forever. With folded hands, Nanak begs for this blessing - please bless me with Your Name.
I don't blame
anyone else. Whatever You do is sweet to my mind. Understanding and obeying
Your Order, I have found peace; hearing, listening to Your Name, I live. Here
and hereafter, O Waheguru, You and only You. The Guru has implanted this
Mantra within me. Since I came to realize this, I have been blessed with
total peace and pleasure. In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, this
has been revealed to Nanak, and now, there is no other for him at all.
My dear friend Waheguru is dear to me, He is always with me, beside me. My beloved Lord is dearer to me than my life; I have seen Him with my own eyes! I have seen Him living hidden in every being. He is a beloved sweetest nectar. He is always near but fools cannot find Him and they are unable to relish the joy being with Him. Those intoxicated in maya remain busy in trivial affairs, remain in illusions and cannot meet the Lord. Says Nanak, without the Guru, one cannot understand the Lord, the friend who is standing near everyone.
My mind yearns so deeply for the Blessed Vision of the Waheguru’s darshan, like the thirsty man without water. My mind is pierced through by the arrow of the Lord’s Love. The Lord God knows my anguish, and the pain deep within my mind. Whoever tells me the Stories of my Beloved Lord is my friend, and dear brother. O my companions, come, and let us join together; let’s sing the Glorious Praises of my Waheguru and follow the comforting advice of the True Guru. O Waheguru, fulfill the hopes of servant Nanak, he finds peace and tranquility in the blessed darshan of his Lord Waheguru.
